To A New Year

3 weeks in and I can already feel the massive jump from 1st year to 2nd year, but before all that lets not forget how amazing Summer 2012 was!

Summer for me firstly consisted  of a weeks cruise around the Fjords in Norway. I hadn't a clue what to expect but I can safely say it was the most incredible holiday I have ever been on and would recommend it to anyone! The feeling of not knowing what astounding beauty I was about to witness when opening the curtain each morning was enough to bring a smile on my face, there are no words to describe this place so I shall just show you some snaps instead:

In the second week of Summer I packed my bags and jetted of to Spain for a relaxing stress free holiday with two of my best girls, another holiday I will never forget!
If I haven't bored you enough already, the rest of my Summer consisted of working zzzz, then a weekend away to V-Festival before finally heading of to Ireland with UEA! One word: AMAZING.
However back to reality now with holiday blues and say hello to winter! Bring on second year!

Revision Sucks

Why have I not been updating this seeing as the weather is being incredible?! Oh probably because my life just revolves around revision nowadays, feels like GCSE's all over again! Oh and also the fact that I am not even at UEA at the moment so can not provide any of what I can only imagine being some amazing photos of the Broad!

Instead, I shall update this blog with some snaps from the Slapton Sands field trip!
Make the most of this weather people ( I certainly have, very very burnt )

Happy Easter Weekend

Lets bring a little bit of sun to this dull looking Easter Weekend eh....

I feel pretty bad that I haven't posted in here for a while, though I'm not sure anyone actually reads this anyways but never mind!
Easter Weekend is here and I must say Easter is not the same now that I am lactose intolerant and all, however it does mean that I receive the expensive dark chocolate from Hotel Chocolat so I suppose that's a bonus!

Have a lovely weekend and hope the Easter Bunny brings you lots of chocolate! <3

Barbie-que

Well that BBQ came earlier than predicted! It seems to be a regular occurrence, these hot sunny Thursdays in Norwich though I was a bit unsure with the thick smog that was revealed when opening my curtains this morning. However what a day it turned out to be!
A BBQ by the lake with the ENV crew, so so lush.

Keep it positive

So, my laptop decided to die on me last week meaning I have lost all my photos of the Broad and all the other 100's of Freshers photos I owned, not a happy bunny.
However things are looking up, my laptop is now fixed and after a week of showering in my flat mates room due to a blocked drain I can finally take showers without my whole room being flooded, only thing left to fix is my phone...but that can wait!

P.s Sorry for such a boring post

What lovely weather to end a hectic week!

Wow, the current weather has really made me realise how much I adore summer! BUT, it also shows how quick time is passing, I mean obviously it isn't near to summer and these 2 days were a fluke ( or global warming ) but time is flying by so quick, especially this semester. Its crazy to think that in 5 weeks it'll be Easter Break, then our exams begin and then it'll be the end of 1st year! What a scary thought!

P.s That last photo is supposed to be off a big flock of birds however my phone quality is very poor!

Wagamamas

Ahh, yesterday was such a lover-ly day! The swans looked soo pretty in the sunlight, as did everything else! The parents came to visit yesterday and we of course to a stroll around the UEA Broad as well as hitting good old Chapelfields for a bitta Wagamamas!

Hope everyone had a brilliant weekend, I know I certainly did!!

Change

Ops, haven't posted for a while! Been busy doing nothing if I'm honest. I have had a few runs around the lake but unfortunately haven't had my camera with me thus am providing you with some old pictures instead, although currently looking out my window the sky seems to be a similar colour to that above.

The weeks seem to be flying by lately, before you know it it'll be Summer ( which I can not wait for ), but my thoughts this week have been about change.
Do you ever get them moments where you just want to do something different, whether its having a new haircut, changing your fashion or maybe taking up a new hobby? Well that's what I am currently experiencing. Don't get me wrong, I love everything in life at the moment but I want something new and exciting to happen but I just don't know what...
Who knows what the future will bring though, change is always happening and one day I shall look back at all of this and I'm sure my life will be very different to how it is now.

Happy Valentines Day

I once read a quote about 2 to 3 years ago now that was one of the most special quotes I had ever read and meant so much to me, however I've never been lucky enough to trace back to the website I read it from. It would have been perfect for this Valentines Day post!

I hope everyone is having a lovely day whether you are sharing it with a special someone or with all your amazing friends and family!

Sundays

I wish I could share a photo of UEA today but seeing as Im at home on a different computer it would be some what impossible. I also wish that I had something exciting to share but I really don't.

My day has been pretty boring, sitting by the radiator watching catch up t.v has probably been the highlight of my day but it allowed me to catch up on the brilliant programme named 'Super Smart Animals' where Liz Bonnin (who I am very jealous of) travels around the planet on a mission to find the most intelligent animals! Iplayer it, you won't be disappointed.

Now, where would this post be without some photos. These are some photographs taken back in summer of my favourite little insect, the Lady Bird:

Home sweet home

Proper food, no washing up and actual live television, was about time I have a weekend at home. For me home lies within the county of Hertfordshire ( if you don't know where that is Google it ) and takes a good 2 hours plus on the train to get from Norwich to here.

After digging into some amazing home-made shepherds pie and plum crumble I came across some old photos on my computer. I had always dreamt about being a nature photographer one day but I have never had a job or saved up the money to buy a decent camera. I currently own a 5 year old little pink Sony Cyber shot camera however 'she' is getting very old now and doesn't seem to achieve the same quality in her photos anymore thus I would like to share with you some of my favourites photographs taken with my Cybershot to prove that she was once a very good piece of technology!

Dogs & snow

Fresh air was defiantly needed after being stuck in all day yesterday but my gosh was it chilly this morning. I looked like Rudolph by the time I got back to my room!
This post is mainly for my photos I took whilst on my walk. Top left: Dogs and snow are a perfect combination, they just always look so excited and adorable! I physically can NOT wait for the day that I own a Beagle, who by the way will be named Dollie.

P.s I hope you like the other photos, I would write a bit more about them but have a chemistry lecture to attend :')

Evening

Oh how I love blue skies, they make any photo look special!
These little beauties were taken back in November where you get that lovely crisp weather that has a balance of being refreshingly cold with a spark of warmth when you stand in the sunlight.

Talking of weather, which can I just say must be the most popular conversation starter here in England, I can not WAIT for Summer at UEA! I can just imagine it already, everyone out on the green with their drinks and cameras, having little barbecues by the broad and relaxing on the tiny beach. Ek!
